THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH! THE EXPERIence should remind any driver of the first time driving a fast automobile. This is my go-kart with four doors and a back seat. The smooth, torquey engine loves to rev and it sounds great. I find the clutch to be perfect and it mates nicely with the short-throw gearshift and close-ratio gearbox. I'm glad I determined the ``high-performance tires'' to be unsuitable for snow before the seven-inch snowfall we had the day after I bought the car. The aftermarket 16-inch wheels and H-rated snow treads from The Tire Rack will serve until spring. As for errors of omission, the only other items on my wish list would be a few additional gauges such as voltmeter and oil pressure, and standard ABS.

except FOR MY WIFE'S BEAUTIFUL VOICE, there isn't a sweeter sound than when the SE-R's intake runner shortens. My grandma would hate it because you feel every bump. As for me, I plan to avidly autocross once spring arrives. A lot of people have thought the interior was too plasticky (the only soft spots are the steering wheel, airbag cover, bottom half of the shifter and door lining tops), but I like it. It lasts longer than vinyl and requires less maintenance.

THE SENTRA SE-R SPEC V, THE AFFORDable option I considered among the likes of the Toyota Celica GT, Volkswagen GTI, Acura RSX and Subaru WRX, handles very well and has more available power than most cars in its class. Though I would suggest Nissan offer multiple interior options, the Spec V has proven to be a great choice.
