Reforma--the professional membership organization that supports library services to the Spanish-speaking--has taken the lead in developing a mentoring program that works. Begun in 2000, the outstanding model that bridges geography and utilizes technology in pairing like-minded librarians of more and less experience just announced its second group of mentors and proteges. Insights from the program's chair and one of the first-year proteges offer a road map to making this work for other groups, from local libraries to state chapters and national organizations.
