Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper has promoted the account director Christian Hinchcliffe to new-business director barely a month after making its marketing director redundant.

Hinchcliffe, 29, will take on the new-business role as well as continuing to run the agency's Expedia and Credit Suisse accounts. He will also take a position on the board.

His promotion follows the departure of the former marketing director Emma Trotman, who also handled the agency's new-business drive. She left in February as part of a cost-cutting exercise.
