The number of boys accusing a suspended DEA agent of soliciting sex from them has doubled to 18, a Las Vegas police lieutenant said Friday.
Lt. Jeff Carlson of the Metropolitan Police Department's sex crimes unit said suspended Drug Enforcement Administration agent Steven Kinney probably will face at least nine additional charges as early as next week. Kinney already has been charged with three dozen criminal counts, most of which are sex-related.
"We've got nine more charges," Carlson said. "There's a total of 18 victims. We had nine victims initially, and I believe we have nine more in the follow-up."
Carlson said none of the children Kinney is accused of seeking out had sexual contact with him.
