2002 APR 3 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will test samples taken from Grand Island (Nebraska) Veterans Home residents after an outbreak of the flu there forced a quarantine.

Officials fear a new strain of the flu virus may be making the rounds in the home, since 98% of residents and 83% of staff had received a flu vaccine this year.
