Emap's prince of pop Trevor Dann is adding another paragraph to his CV by leaving the group to create his own production outfit and help in the running of a record label.
However, the managing director of pop at Emap Performance will not be relinquishing all his ties with the company and will continue to executive produce TV programmes run by the division such as Smash Hits Poll Winners Party and the Kerrang! and Q Awards.
