1902 MAR 28 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- TriPath Imaging, Inc., (TPTH) reported that two leading academic medical centers have signed agreements to use the PREPSTAIN (formerly known as the AutoCyte PREP System) for their liquid-based cervical cytology testing. Massachusetts General Hospital, in Boston, Massachusetts, and Stanford Hospital and Clinics, part of Stanford University Medical Center in Stanford, California, have joined other top medical centers in utilizing the PREPSTAIN processing and staining module.
In its rating of 17 different individual specialty areas reflecting excellence in medical care, U.S. News and World Report (July 23, 2001) recently recognized Massachusetts General Hospital and Stanford Hospital as among "America's Best Hospitals" in gynecology.
