Despite a sustained wind that Lamborghini officials say hurt its times, the Italian sports car builder's Murcielago set three international speed records for production cars at the 12.9-kilometer Nardo high-speed test track in Italy Feb. 16.

Driven by Lamborghini tester Giorgio Sanna, the Murcielago completed 22 laps at an average lap speed of 198.8 mph (320 km/h), establishing the one-hour international record for series production cars with non-turbocharged four-stroke engines that have more than 6.0 liters total displacement.
