Graham Linehan, the writer and director behind some of the UK's most popular sitcoms, is joining Serious Pictures to direct commercials following Talkback's decision to close its commercials arm.
Linehan has won a string of British Comedy Awards for his work on Father Ted, one of Channel 4's most popular sitcoms, which he co-wrote with Arthur Matthews.
More recently he has co-written and directed BBC2's surreal sketch show Big Train. His TV credits also include Brass Eye, Coogan's Run and Harry Enfield.
