Fujitsu Siemens has called a review of its 8 million [pounds sterling] UK media account as it moves to simplify its planning and buying arrangements.
The merged company's UK media is currently handled by BJK&E, which won Fujitsu's account from Carat Business in 1997. However, several portions of Fujitsu Siemens' UK media schedule are bought by overseas agencies. The review has been opened up to include agencies not present on either Fujitsu's or Siemens' existing rosters.
The non-incumbent agencies were informed last week that they should prepare to pitch for the UK business.
