While it may seem that the maturation curve for today's youth is skewing younger and younger, kids still relish one of the simplest, most traditional play activities of all time: grossing each other out.
At this year's Toy Fair, slimy, gooey materials oozed from exhibitors' showrooms, including Mattel and JAKKS Pacific. Mattel reintroduced Slime!, its "classic reusable compound," to appeal to both girls and boys this time around. Slime OoZips' bright, glittery colors and four ultra-feminine carrying pouches--a flower, butterfly, lips and heart--may make little boys gag, but will certainly appeal to fun-loving girls.
