If you consider the three Rs-refinement, reliability and resale-Civic Si wins. That SVT Focus has more horsepower and another forward gear can't outweigh concerns over dependability and the ability to hold value down the road.

Choosing the Civic Si is easy. It won't break, it won't get caught in a never-ending stream of recalls, ergonomics will be right and it will be available on the lot for purchase when Honda says it will.
