With the ongoing war in Afghanistan, suicide bombers in Israel, and the economic recession here at home, joy seems like a hard thing to come by at the moment. But if there's one thing we should take away from the tragedy of September 11, it's that learning to really experience happiness right here, right now is ultimately where it's at. I have to remind myself of this constantly because in the crush of my kids' school events, planning my husband's birthday (anybody have any fresh ideas?), and oh yes, getting this magazine to the printer on time without any blank pages, I forget to live in the moment and savor all the good stuff in life. That's why I've posted this quotation…
