Attendance zones for eight new schools scheduled to open in 2002-03 were approved Tuesday by the Clark County School Board.
The recommendations were made to the board by the Attendance Zone Advisory Commission, which held a series of public meetings on the proposals. Those affected by the zoning changes have been informed through their current schools. Postcards were sent out to residents of affected areas. New zone maps are available from the district or the schools.
The new schools will serve the following regions:
Northeast and Northwest
Cozine Elementary School, 5335 Coleman St., North Las…
