United Parcel Service is expanding its horizons. Big Brown now offers automated online tools and services in 37 countries in each country's local language. Customers in these countries now can download UPS OnLine Tools from the web and have wireless access to tracking information without going through a UPS sales representative.

This year UPS is rolling out local-language versions of its online tools in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, said Mike Ryan, vice president of international e-commerce at UPS.
