CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio -- Health Care Logistics Inc. has introduced products designed to meet the needs of retail pharmacists and its other customers, including hospitals, home health care agencies and correctional facilities.

The company, an international distributor of health care products, specializes in providing unique and hard-to-find items that solve a facility's special problems.

One such item is the Tru-Cut multitablet cutter, which is designed to handle up to 17 tablets at once with minimal effort. The device features plastic trays with pockets to hold such specific drugs or groups of drugs as the leading psychoactive, high blood pressure or cholesterol-lowering medications. If a tray is not available for a particular drug Health Care Logistics will make it and supply it at no additional cost to the customer.

The device is sold in a starter kit that includes the cutter, loading chute, two extra blades, blade guard, cleaning brush and Allen wrench. Also included are two of each of the 19 plastic medication trays and a reference chart showing which tray to use with which drug.
