WARWICK, R.I. -- The Dome Industries unit of Dome Publishing has won a strong following among the millions of Americans who suffer from the painful effects of carpal tunnel syndrome with its Handeze line of compression therapy gloves.

Last year the company completed a major extension to the line with Handeze Plus, which features a pocket that contains a thermal comfort pillow that Can be heated or cooled to deliver hot or cold therapy. The result can be more rapid relief of the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome.

The thermal glove boasts all of the features of the original Handeze model, so users of the glove can gain all the benefits of the original if they should choose not to use its heating or cooling potential.

Dome has expanded its beachhead in the therapeutic products field with two items that will be found in the first aid/sports medicine aisle of mass market outlets. Selfgrip is a combination of an elastic bandage and athletic tape that adheres to itself without any need for pins, clips or Velcro fasteners. Elastic bandages can stretch as much as 100% to 200%, thereby failing to give maximum support to an injured limb or joint. Selfgrip has been specially woven to stretch no more than 60% to 70%, thus enabling it to provide maximum support without curing off circulation to the area.
