The BBC is embarking on a 3 million [pounds sterling] multimedia campaign to support the launch of its two new children's channels -- CBeebies and CBBC.
The CBeebies campaign targets parents of under-fives and is intended to raise awareness of the website and interactive services, as well as the channel launch.
DFGW has produced four campaign trails for the CBeebies launch to run across the schedule on both BBC1 and BBC2. One trail follows the CBeebies "bugs" as they travel through shows in the schedule, including Teletubbies, Tweenies and Bill & Ben. The other three cover the interactive platform and online content.
