A creative team from D'Arcy has won the September 2002 Aerial award with a radio commercial for the DVLA and COI Communications.
Matt Wheeler and David Chidlow created a 60-second commercial that spoofs the Dukes of Hazzard's "just the good old boys" theme tune. It raises awareness of the DVLA's new road cameras that can identify untaxed cars.
The RAB Aerial award, supported by Campaign, was judged by Duncan Timms and Will Bates of M&C Saatchi.
The ad, "road tax hazard", reworks the lyrics of the song using lines including "just the good old boys, never paid their own tax".
