International Labour Organisation to launch 'Decent Work' project in Pakistan.

LAHORE : International Labour Organisation (ILO) Regional Director for Asia and Pacific, Yaschi Nodera, said here on Wednesday that the ILO would soon launch 'Decent Work' project in Pakistan for improving the working conditions of labour community.

He was addressing the members of the standing committee of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on labour and representatives of skill development council (SDC).

Under the 'Decent Work' project, such an environment would be ensured in the organisations where equal opportunities exist, both for male and female workers, he added. Appreciating the role of SDC in skill …
