PRESIDENT Macapagal-Arroyo yesterday said the investigation into Sen. Panfilo Lacson's alleged involvement in drug trafficking and other criminal activities was still going on.

She said Col. Victor Corpus, the chief of Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces who is Lacson's main accuser, has not dropped the case.

"It's still there. Sometimes (Corpus) gives me status reports. It will continue," she said in Filipino during her televised yearend "Report to the Nation."
