Jakarta, Jan 8 (ANTARA) - State Minister for State Enterprises Laksamana Sukardi affirmed here Tuesday the Salim family will not reacquire the Bank Central Asia (BCA).

"I can assure you, Salim won't buy BCA shares," he said after attending a coordinative ministerial meeting on economic affairs on Tuesday.

He said he would directly monitor the selling of the bank's shares by the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA).

Laksamana said there were at present nine bidders for BCA shares and none of them was a member of the Salim family.
