The constitutional referendum, the destabilization attempt which occurred on 19 December and the management of the transitional period were the main subjects discussed by the opposition during the press conference it held on 25 December.

The first speaker, Mr Mohamed Msaidie, hailed the organization of the referendum, which, he said, was the first step of the national reconciliation process.

Despite some irregularities, the opposition, in general, hailed the yes victory, especially in Anjouan, where, according to Msaidie, the yes vote is an exemplary gesture which strengthens the climate of trust …
