The Islamic Jihad Movement has accused the Palestinian [National] Authority of continuing its campaigns arrest against its activists in the Gaza Strip and West Bank. It reaffirmed its commitment to the option of resisting occupation which is condoned by international laws. The movement said the statements made by Shaykh Nafidh Azzam, one of its leaders in the Gaza Strip, were given more meanings than they had and that the media chose only what it wanted to hear.

Palestinian security bodies yesterday arrested three elements of the Al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad military wing, in the northern part of Gaza, and seized their weapons during midnight raids on the night before last.
