Employers' Group Launches FluSTAR System.(Brief Article)
2002 FEB 13 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- The Employers' Managed Health Care Association has launched a new service to help employees understand, identify, and seek treatment for the flu - the FluSTAR System for tracking and reporting the flu. FluSTAR, developed by Hoffmann-LaRoche, Inc., in 1999 is the fastest and most comprehensive system in the world for tracking the flu.
Rapid tests, performed in local doctors' offices across the country, give a real-time indication of flu status in local and regional markets.
