India eye top-three finish in World Cup.

INDIA, buoyed by their win in the inaugural Champions Challenge on Saturday, are now aiming for a top-three finish in next year's 10th Men's World Cup in Kuala Lumpur from February 24 to March 9.

And to underline their seriousness, the Indian team have ruled out competing in the six-nation tournament to be hosted by the Malaysia Hockey Federation (MHF) in January, simply because it is too close to the World Cup.
