Allison needs to leave, for district and himself
It's a tough bullet for the wounded Albuquerque Public Schools Superintendent Brad Allison to bite, but bite it he must, then quit his job and leave without further struggle. There's no point in prolonging the agony.
The Albuquerque Board of Education, dominated by forces once sympathetic to Allison whose pro-reform board members Allison once cheered has lost confidence in him. Board members unanimously voted on Monday night to suspend him and asked him either to resign or be fired.
