CHART COMMENTARY

Daniel Bedingfield scores a remarkable double this week, reclaiming both sales and airplay crowns from Robbie Williams and Nicole Kidman's Somethin' Stupid. Bedingfield climbed to the top of the airplay chart in our last issue, while Williams and Kidman reigned during our two week sabbatical. In fact, the top of the airplay chart is eerily and unusually very like the top of the sales chart, with the exact same top five in the same positions save for Ian Van Dahl's Will I taking fourth place on the airplay list instead of the Backstreet Boys' Drowning -- and therein lies a tale.
