As a member of CEC/DCCD for more than 20 years, I have seen the journal now titled Communication Disorders Quarterly (CDQ) grow and change with the changing needs of the readers and the supporting organization. The contents of the journal represent a breadth of viewpoints and professional interests. It is currently a highly respected source of professional information. The alliance between DCCD (now the Division for Communicative Disabilities and Deafness [DCDD]) and PRO-ED, and the quality work of Dr. Alejandro Brice as editor, have enhanced the value of this resource.
