India: Good volumes return to Lyons Range.
KOLKATA, Dec. 7. VOLUMES have come back on Lyons Range as recent records logged by the Calcutta Stock Exchange suggest. Frontline CSE stocks, many of them leading IT counters, are all grossing major volumes, much to the satisfaction of brokers and investors.
On Friday, the day the market saw a correction; Satyam Computers, Himachal Futuristic and GTL (Global Tele) were the top three stocks in terms of volumes. Each of them recorded trades in a good number of shares.
The Top 10 list put out by the CSE at the end of the day had other counters such as Zee Telefilms, DSQ Software and PentaSoft Technologies in the fourth, sixth and tenth positions respectively. …
