* Greg and Cindy-Dalgarn, co-owners of Ultimate Auto Works Inc., which specializes in high-end cars such as BMW, Mercedes and Lexus, have received $900,000 to buy a 6,000-square-foot office condo in Scottsdale Airpark.
In business for more than nine years, they have an established client base and decided to take advantage, of lower interest rates, according to Greg Dalgarn. The company is planning to occupy the space next fall.
* Caretakers Building Maintenance, a commercial janitorial company, just bought a 9,000-square-foot building at 32nd Street and Broadway Road that it moved into in October.
"We were going to double the size of the space we were leasing and our lease was running out at the other location," said president Rick Gramhill. "I just couldn't swallow having to pay those kind of leasing costs."
* Ryan's Pet Supplies added 16,000 square feet of space and is looking to bring its computer systems to the next level and expand its marketing capabilities.
Warren Goldfarb, vice president of the pet supply company that sells to groomers, kennel operators and similar business-to-business customers, expects 20 to 30 percent growth in 2002.
