Abstract
Physical activity instructors teaching college and university physical activity courses should heed increased calls for accountability in higher education. Simply relying on participation and/or attendance as a means to evaluate student performance is an "inappropriate practice." This article describes a couple of different approaches to assessment that instructors might integrate into their overall evaluation scheme.
