Havana, 6 December: Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung today concluded his seven-day visit to Cuba. During this visit, agreements were signed for the purchase of 250,000 tons of rice and for industrial development.

Cuban Vice-President Carlos Lage, who went to see the Vietnamese delegation off, praised the favourable conditions that the agreement for the purchase of rice has for Cuba. He also pointed to the identification of other areas of cooperation between the two nations.

During his stay, the Vietnamese deputy prime minister signed another two cooperation agreements with the island …
