Tom Nguyen didn't like where his computer training company was headed--which included the board's decision to remove, him from the CEO slot.

So, he bought out his three ETEC partners in October. The company's board of directors and its chairman, Alethea Snyder, resigned in the aftermath.

It's a new day at ETEC in E-Comm2.

Nguyen's former partners and board members--William Bantz, CEO of E-Comm2 and president of the Mercer Cos., his son, William J. Bantz, E-Comm2 chief operating officer, and Terry Spade, a local investor who was in charge of ETEC's curriculum--had pushed for ETEC's corporate structure to look more like a bigger company with a CEO, chief operating officer and other executives.
