Lally Weymouth's Nov. 19 interview with Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf led readers to e-mail us their surprised reactions. Most scoffed at General Musharraf's claim that he "will introduce democracy" in Pakistan while continuing as president. "What should we call this type of 'democracy' where the present head of state nominates him-self president?" asked one.
