It was good to see Richard and Judy back on our screens last Monday for their eponymous show.

Despite moving from coffee time to teatime, and channel three to Channel Four, the format was welcoming and familiar for This Morning fans. Certainly the ITV1 show has suffered since they departed in July, with viewing down a third and a string of talent attempting to reign as the King and Queen of daytime.

Could they cope with six months out and returning to a different slot? The competition from Auntie was tough with a special edition of The Weakest Link on BBC2 and Neighbours on BBC1. However, the preceding …
