The deadline for submitting nominees for Mr. or Ms. Clearwater is almost here.
You don't have to be a member of the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce to nominate candidates for the chamber's highest honor.
But you do have to get your suggestions in by Dec. 3.
Nominees should be active in civic affairs and organizations, and do volunteer work not related to their jobs.
The nominees also must be able to "represent Clearwater with distinction at various functions," chamber rules stated.
Oh, and don't bother suggesting politicians. They're the one category of people who are ineligible.
