While many businesses spend thousands of dollars on market research before settling on a name for the company, David Schapira didn't really worry about such things when he launched his own company this summer.
Schapira's Shadyside-based X7 Technologies Corp. is an Internet services development firm providing Web design and development, hosting and consulting.
"X7 means nothing," he admitted.
"It's just how I named the business plans on my computer so they'd go down to the bottom of the list. There was X1, X2, X3 and so on. This was the seventh one."
