DOWNTOWN -- The Plaza Ice Rink at PPG Place will open Dec. 10, according to Hillman Properties Inc., which developed the diamond-shaped rink.
Magic Ice Inc. of Miami, Fla., will manage day-to-day operations of the rink and the skate shop at Four PPG Place. About 25 seasonal employees are expected to be hired to staff the new facility.
The rink will be open for public skating seven days a week and operate, weather permitting, through the end of February.
Admission to public skating sessions will be $5 for adults, and …
