NORTH HUNTINGDON - Eddie DeBartolo Jr.'s new business venture is interested in building a shopping center in Westmoreland County.
Officials at DeBartolo Property Group have zeroed in on two parcels, the 190-acre Lincoln Hills Country Club near Route 30, and 25 adjacent acres.
The larger parcel is controlled by Norm McHolme, a commercial developer based in Elizabeth. It is likely that both parcels would be needed for the development.
A DeBartolo executive said the company's interest in North Huntingdon is simple: Opportunity.
