It's already clear our Infiniti Q45 will contend for the AutoWeek record for total miles driven on a long-term car. It joined our fleet as road-trip season got underway and immediately became a top choice for road-tripping staffers. Aside from a few hours having scheduled maintenance performed, the car hasn't left our service.
We give high marks to the Q45's 340-hp V8 drivetrain. Its power delivery is so smooth and refined you never hear the engine, even up around 90 mph. Manually shifting the five-speed automanual doesn't always do the trick-there's a noticeable lag. More and more, we drive in the sport suspension setting.
