Getting help begins with talking about your problem. Find a friend or an adult you trust and ask, "May I talk with you?"
Find a quiet, private place to talk. Tell the person what's bothering you. Explain how you feel about the problem and that you need help dealing with it.
Circles of Help
Break into small groups. Have each group choose a particular problem commonly facing young people. Write it above. Each member of the group lists as many sources as he or she can for getting help or information about the problem. A source can be a family member, school counselor, family doctor, or scout leader.
