Shrink labels used on contour containers are forecast to be the fastest growing segment of the label industry for the next five years, with the compound annual growth rate over that time expected to be more than 10% per year with North American sales volumes reaching $303mn by 2005. This is among the key findings in Shrink Labels for Contour Packaging, the first in a series of new "Hot Topic" reports jointly produced by BRG Townsend and Packaging Strategies. The report assesses the emerging opportunities for shrink labels used to decorate contoured plastic, glass, and metal containers.
