Stressful situations demand solutions to lessen the stress. Just as President Bill Clinton helped during a stressful time for earthquake victims by making important decisions and displaying a caring attitude, you can help yourself and others in time of stress. Your decisions and actions can help ease stress or make it worse.
Thinking things through before you speak or act will help. Keep in mind that it's not easy to be upbeat around a person who's always complaining. It's not easy to trust a person who lies to you. And, it's not easy to do a favor for a person who's rude. Which approach will probably get you what you want from your parents, a or b?
