Danny Reitz was tired of balancing his sports equipment on his bike as he rode to a practice or a game. "Besides," Danny says, "it wasn't that safe."
When his elementary school in Schaumburg, Illinois, held its Invention Convention, Danny submitted his invention, the Sport Tote Accessory Carrier. The device allows bikers to strap sports equipment to the front of their bikes. Danny's invention was given the highest score at the convention.
He has applied for a U.S. patent and found a Chicago manufacturer to help him. "All of my friends want one," says Danny, "to have a safe ride."
