Patti and Erin Klobus are sisters on the same soccer team. They really enjoy playing. But sometimes other kids tease Erin because she has Down's syndrome.

During a game when Erin was goalie, the other team scored and said some mean things to Erin. Patti and the rest of Erin's team did their best to cheer her up. When Erin scored the winning goal, the whole team felt great.

Many Different Feelings

Everyone has feelings that change throughout each day. Feelings aren't good or bad--they just happen. So no one has the right to say, "You shouldn't feel that way."

Behavior, on the other hand, can be right or wrong. You're in control, and you don't have to let out your feelings in ways that hurt others.

As you get older, you are probably becoming aware of many more feelings than just glad, sad, and mad. You may realize that you can have more than one feeling at a time.
