Your body can do wonderful things. Look at the wonderful things these Junior Olympians do with their bodies. Each of them takes good care of his or her body in order to perform well. You need to know how to make good choices to care for your body. You need to choose good food, regular exercise, and plenty of sleep to keep your body healthy.

Good Food

Your body uses good food for energy, growth, and repairing itself. Scientists have developed the food pyramid to help you choose good food for your body.

Regular Exercise

When you choose to exercise regularly, you are helping to keep your body healthy. Some exercises make your heart and lungs stronger. Some exercises build strength and balance. Your body needs both kinds.

To keep your heart and lungs strong, you can
