Not all accidents call for emergency care by paramedics and doctors. What would you do if you fell down and scraped your knee? You might have a family member help you, or you might take care of it yourself. You could wash the scrape and cover it with a bandage to keep it clean. It's important to wash a cut or scrape in order to get any dirt and germs out of it.
