The Flight for Life helicopter ambulance service of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, makes about 1,000 trips each year to rescue people who are hurt. A person who is hurt in a bad accident needs to get to a hospital fast. A road ambulance can bring people to a hospital very fast. A helicopter ambulance can get to a hospital even faster than a road ambulance.
