EDEN, New York-What musical instrument can everyone play? Some people who live in this small New York town have an answer-a kazoo!

The only company in the world that makes metal kazoos is located in Eden. The company is called The One and Only Original Kazoo Company, Inc.

Kazoos have been played in the United States for about 100 years. They are one of the country's most popular instruments. Why? Because they are so easy to play. You just hum into the mouthpiece.

How Are Sounds Made?

To make sound something must vibrate. That means something must move back and forth very quickly.

Sounds are made by vibrations. Vibrations are made in many ways.
